"No." Hannibal admitted. "It's not finished, not by far. There's still some experiments I need to do, some testing. I've just got the very basics of the ideas I was aiming for. The flesh of it, if you will."
He was anxious to see what Simon could put in. What he could add, or help circumvent because it'd already been tried.
"You're right about the cure." Hannibal stood and moved to a cage, which he uncovered and brought over. "In infecting these mice with the monkey's, disease let's call it, it didn't quite happen the same as it did in the primate. And when given the cure, they appeared to recover temporarily, and then died. So it's neither, in the end. It's not the infection, nor the cure for such. At least not in mice. I have a feeling that I can achieve the cure in short time. But I still have no leads into any way to spread what the monkey has. Not that I want to, mind. But it makes it harder to find a solution."
