Living out of his spa.... oh. So that kind of made sense to her. A talking cat from space. Where else would he be from? She hadn't really been giving much thought to it, but a planet full of talking cats sort of fit. Better than anything else she might have come up with.
Jennifer didn't really have the heart to tell Jake that she thought it was really unlikely he'd ever get back to his home. It made her feel really bad.
"Well." She ventured. "I have an apartment. I'm not sure your ship would fit inside, but I know you would. If you like, you could come live with me."
It felt a little bit wrong to imply that he'd be her kitty. It was also sort of wrong of her to deny that's sort of what she was hoping for. Though, he'd probably make a better companion than most other cats. He could talk back, for one.
"I have plenty of food. The City keeps stocking my fridge. I bet that it would put a lot of tuna in the cupboards for you."
She sighed a little. "I'm really lonely too, to be honest. And it'd be really great to have somebody around."
