It didn't really bother Liz one bit that things in The City weren't as exciting as they had been with the B.P.R.D. That place had run her ragged. Here in The City, things were usually done before she could get there, and although she missed playing with fire from time to time, she could deal with getting home at a normal hour and having a life.
"Thanks boss, but you get so much enjoyment out of running the siren, I'll let you do it."
He kept trying to make her feel better, but he really didn't need to. She just shrugged it off. Apparently, he wasn't used to quiet employees.
