Fred hadn't noticed the change in color so much, not really. She blinked as he stopped her. She knew what she should be seeing, and what she saw. Gray grass, but she knew it was green.
"I think we're near the Bates Motel. We can see if Norman's okay." Yes, she'd just said it. And, as if the City was waiting for her to say it, the house came into view almost as the motel did. She paused. It was gray like everything else, but somehow she knew that it was a different color. It was...yellow? She blinked. "See?"
