(Cramped space, so I moved it over a little. Hope this isn't a problem!)
Always the gentleman, Dean. She wondered if he did this for all the other women that he had been with. The thought almost made her choke. She hated that she was jealous of a few nameless people (or not so nameless, actually). Dean wasn't hers and he wasn't going to be hers. He wasn't the type who settled down, despite her overwhelming desire to have a family. She supposed that she still had years yet, but that didn't stop that maternal yearning. One day.
That thoughts was quickly put out of her mind when he kissed her again. She just smirked in reply. "You should have seen the other options I had to choose from." Twisting away from him, she fondly recalled the memory of hot wiring various other cars before she settled on this one. It had plenty of room in the back, she had to admit, although she had to clamp down on that urge. There was something about the Impala that always brought that fantasy toward the smaller cramped space.
Shifting the truck into drive, Jo pulled away with both hands on her steering wheel, refusing to look into the mirrors to see if he was still there. She'd wake up in a few moments, wouldn't she? It would make some sense, all things considered. Damn, this really was a good dream.
Pulling up in front of her apartment complex, Jo waited a few seconds before climbing out of her truck, dragging her gear with her on the way. She might as well prep herself for her next hunt, come to think of it. Turning her head though, she spied Dean out of the corner of her eye. He really was here. Pausing, she let that sink in before she turned back, fishing out her keys and unlocking the door and climbing the flights to reach her door. Once there, she stopped, staring at the door as if she was wondering about what she was doing. Unlocking that door too, she dumped her stuff by the door before walking into the kitchenette.
