Firekeeper shook her head, still not at ease yet. "Not very hungry. Ate today." While it was far from the seeming mountains of food that had been available during her time with the humans of her homeland, a fish and a handful of berries was a feast compared to the days that she would sometimes go without when she was very young. "Blind Seer eat yesterday."
"I would certainly not say no to the opportunity for more food."
She smiled fondly at him. "Blind Seer is tub of guts, but not need more food."
"Only a fool overlooks a certain rabbit in favor of future deer," he said, biting at her leg.
"How much more is there?" she asked, ignoring him and motioning to the buildings. "Is all like this?" There was only so much that her nerves could take before she needed to return to the peace and quiet and relative familiarity of the park.
