Anita might have been okay with the wolf, not that she looked as together as she usually did. Zoe took another bite before looking between the girl and the wolf, head tilted slightly. She might have seen something similar in her time, but usually she saw scavengers, wild animals; the only thing that acted this calm around humans were dogs. A quick swallow and sip of coffee.
"Only people used to the City are the crazies." There was a licking of lips as she turned slightly to give Anita a look over. "Course, I have to wonder about some of the others in town." A small joke perhaps.
"You look hungry, kid. Bet he?...is too." Well, it wasn't like she could just tip sideways to see. Zoe didn't question her need to help; it was there, honest. She just didn't like getting involved for no good reason. Maybe.
