She was busy watching his reaction to her and she figured that she should nip the whole demon thing in the bud. "If you're wondering if I'm a demon or something, I'm not. I'm 99% human with some fire that resides in the rest, and I've seen some demons before. Believe me, I'm not one." She grinned and puffed on her cigarette.

After exhaling she said, "well, it sounds like your car is where your heart is. I've never been much of a mover, but I do like my space. It must be hard to be stuck here in The City then, especially since there doesn't seem to be any way to get out." She'd read that somewhere in the newspaper. The City was it. Others had looked for a way out, but they couldn't find it.
