The reaction that Dean had given her made her narrow her eyes. He'd realized something through that touch. Could this man be anything like Abe. Abe could see things through touch too.
Liz licked her lips and realized that her cigarette had gone out and that she'd been without one. She reached into her pocket and pulled out the Lucky 7's that she smoked. Putting the cigarette to her lips, she raised her finger up to light it.
"Yeah, I guess it was pretty lucky. It was better than having to start all over again. I do have to say that I miss my... er, co-workers." She wasn't sure what else to call them. Some of the people in the B.P.R.D. were more like family, but that story would probably just bore Dean.
"Sounds like you didn't get all the fixings when you got here then..."
