Wilson had grown used to the City's strange occurrences...but not so used that a man flying through the air and hitting the building next to him was something to be treated with equanimity.
He rushed over to the fallen man dressed in black and felt for a pulse. Hearing a strong one, he did a quick check for injuries. Looks like some scratches, going to be some bruising later, can't tell about the ribs without prodding or an x-ray...
Watching long enough to determine no major bleeding was going on, especially not from the head, Wilson lightly shook the man's shoulder.
"Can you hear me? I'm a doctor, I'm going to help you. What's your name? Are you experiencing any blurred vision? Where is the pain localized?"
He pulled out his cell phone, hand automatically dialing 911 as he posed the questions to the injured man.
