Simon paused at the red comment; he hadn't really thought of it. He hadn't thought of that at all, which in a way disturbed him. He nodded slightly, agreeing perhaps red did look a little too much like blood. He had enough of that at his day job.
"Hmm, perhaps, I won't get red. I believe a deep purple could be calming." His mind working on colors and anatomy now, he quickly flipped through what might represent what. Purple could also be blood, or the heart or some part of...
"Perhaps not. A pale blue? A sea blue." That wasn't anything like the Hospital color? "Certainly not what I've heard institutional blue."
He paused again, as he realized they were actually talking to each other, not just talking outloud. He was being rude, and while Simon had his moments, his parents had raised him a little better than that.
"Simon Tam. A vacation. I haven't been on one of those for a while, but I doubt my sister would care to go along with me for now. But, a vacation, that could be rather pleasant, thank you." The smile was polite, but a vacation somewhere did sound good. He'd love to see a beach, or some wide open space. He never thought he'd miss the Black, but sometimes the City seemed to closed in, too tight.
