"My sister is the artist in the family. I'm just...the dependable one." River was the amazing one; Simon was the one everyone could count on, until lately. Lately he'd taken to a darker side that not even he knew about.
"Well, I think my apartment could use something. Canary yellow is a good color, pastel yellow can be pleasant too. I believe I'm going to purchase something more drastic. Something dark...red. Or perhaps a purple." He was talking more to himself, but this hotel owner fellow wasn't going to care, was he? It wasn't as if Simon would ever see him again - they probably didn't travel in the same crowds. Then again, Simon wasn't traveling in any crowds lately.
"We should probably buy what we're going to buy before they close." He stepped back from the window and moved to head inside.
