Simon sat back slowly, digesting the information. He understood, somewhat, but he wanted to know more, to understand more. The doctor was afraid to ask anymore questions, seeing as the big guy seemed to have problems following or maybe not so much following as being what some would call "normal." Good thing for John, Simon had grown up with abnormal.
"Well, Mr. Coffey, I'd greatly appreciate it..." He paused, not wanting to dumb down what he was saying, but he didn't want John to get lost. "I'd like you to come by the hospital sometime to help, if you feel you can do it."
As much as Simon wanted to examine Coffey, and others who had strange abilities, he wasn't going to look a gift firefly in the mouth. He smiled at the dark skin man, not too soft, not so much like he was looking at a child - but really, the doctor only had a few smiles to work with, and John was falling under the "I need to take care of this person" category.
