Simon didn't seem bothered by the new person on his bench, but then again, who could really be bothered by such a kind soul as Coffey, even if he was a little on the big side? It wasn't until the doctor started to shift on the bench to get a little more comfortable, maybe say using the big man's shoulder for a pillow, that Simon became aware. Or awake.
He sat up quickly, eyes wide. It wasn't the smoothest transition, but Simon Tam had never been considered all that smooth outside the operating room. He slid back, nearly sliding off the bench.
"What? Where? Who.." He relaxed a little, or at least forced himself to look that way. "What time is it?" His voice somewhat calmer than just a moment ago.
