The green humanoid had some some real damage to the giant lizard, and the flaming entity seems to be having more success.

The Doctor sat with his hand on a control in the ship, contemplating his next move. It was not too late.
He flipped a switch, a huge blast of energy pulsed from the TARDIS. It pulsed at the lizard and all those around it. A blue wave shone from the point of impact and spread in an circle like a pebble in a pond.
They always wanted to kill, when something more simple was possible. Humans were wonderful insightful beings, but these shaved apes could be so bloodthirsty.
Inside the ship the wave reached him. It shook his cerebral cortex, almost knocking him unconscious. Those closer to the point of impact may not have been so lucky.
The lights dimmed in the ship, as the Doctor hoped to put the monster into torpor.
