Green eyes darted upwards as a newcomer made his way into their midst where they stood in the living room. It wasn't quite as startling as perhaps some people would think it should be to have people simply walking into their house. Jarvis was always good about letting their guests in and giving them instructions on where to go when she was not available. It brought her a great deal of comfort to have the A.I. always on alert throughout the house. He saw what she could not and took great care to keep her abreast of all of the goings-ons in the large expansion of the estate.
She offered the man a gentle smile even as she finished cleaning the last traces of grease from her knees and hands.
"Welcome, Dr. Jones," she greeted him formally, offering him the same firm handshake she'd given to Dr. Banner. "I'm glad that you were able to join us."
Those strawberry blond locks of her hair were tossed away from her face as she turned her interested gaze between the two men. The mysteries of the City had been an increasing curiosity to her ever since she'd first been brought here and she'd been actively involved in trying to find her own answers to the various questions she held. Tony had been skeptical of her work and had even discouraged it every now and again - but she was not generally a woman to be put off of a task.
And now, with these two men with their own ideas on the situation they were in - well, needless to say, she couldn't wait to try and pick their minds for what they'd come across thus far.
"Not for everyone," she answered Dr. Jones question, turning back around towards him with a fold of her arms. "There has been records of specific places from various people's...past...that have shown up with them. For instance, this estate. We woke up here on the morning that we were brought here. However, I was 'relocated'. I wasn't originally sleeping in Mr. Stark's home to begin with - back in our world. I was at my apartment. But when I was brought here, for some reason the City decided to place me in the guest room of the estate."
She glanced between the men, softly biting down on her lower lip and hoping she was making some kind of sense - and trying desperately to avoid any questions or quips about Tony having his secretary sleeping in his home.
"However, not everyone has found a place that is familiar to them. I have spoken with some people that were simply thrown here and woke up without having a clue as to where they were or familiarity with anything." Her eyes darted over towards Tony, momentarily hesitating on the second part of her observation, seeing as how the situation was still something of a 'sore spot' for them...but she pressed on. "The City is also known to present individuals with places they need in order to reside. For instance, the City gave me an apartment not far from here when I...had need of it. I found the key waiting for me and a note that was welcoming me home."
