Ariel breathed in relief, glad there was no protest in whom she wanted or considered friends. Out of those she knew, Ariel could trust few. Ben and Eric were second and third to Steve and James.
Time was not a relevant thing to Ariel, she never considered time a factor in anything she did during her day. So, at the time, she nodded, "That is fine with me, James." And to the fact of needing to change, needing anything else...she wouldn't have had any thought toward it. That didn't matter to her. She would've married him where they stood if he asked.
