"He talks?!" She didn't know why she believed this strange woman but she did. She wanted to believe in something, at least, since she was all by herself now. She didn't consider her friendship with James or Steve something to keep her entirely afloat, neither were entirely her type and both were do-gooders. She had a good streak when she wanted it, but being bad was fun too.
The interest in the bird waned as the woman continued. The protective fire within her flared up again at mention of Jack - this woman wouldn't know the depths of the love and devotion Harley had for Jack. "He is here," Harley replied, rolling her eyes. She lifted her bat, pointing it in the direction of Black Gate, "They turned him into a statue. A damned stone statue!" She could feel her eyes watering again. He deserved better than that!!
Shoulders slumping, Harley set the bat back down into the position it had been in before, nose against the concrete, "I'm whateva I wanna be, but it ain't as fun bein' by myself all tha time. Lonely. Makes a girl wanna be bad, ya know? Just ta have something ta do."
At mention of exploring, Harley smiled some, turning her attention briefly again at the bird, "He gotta name? What about you? The streets move, yanno. The building's too. One minute you could be where ya need ta be, the next minute....poof!!" Harley said, making an exaggerated gesture with her free hand to imply the level of disappearance, "And ya gotta find the building all over again. Gets annoying."
