John could hear the truth behind the words, even if they did little to soothe them. The body hit, then sank to the ground like the sentiment between them. John sighed heavily then shook his head and chuckled, turning his back to the other slightly.
"Well, that's true, at least," he huffed, then snorted, the sound almost a scoff.
He turned back to the other. "Tell me at least what you are. So I know how to gage you," he smirked as he spoke, but his tone spoke more seriously. He folded his arms over his chest. "You know what I am. But I'm getting tired of guessing about others."
