Peter had caught that snap of emotion, and waited with the tilt of his head until Tony addressed him.
"Why so glum, chum?" The webslinger replied. At the comment about the webs, Peter shook his head, "Those aren't mine. They belong to someone else, I've been following them around the City and if that person is here then we are all in a lot of danger."
Peter shivered at the thought of having to fight a crazed, monstrous lunatic. "Tall, dark and ugly is here and he doesn't play well with others. I'd keep an eye out if I were you." He didn't want any of his friends taken by surprise at the hulking alien.
But Peter didn't want to linger on Venom, so he approached the inventor slowly, pausing when he was within an arms distance. "Now, you can tell me what's bothering you if you want. You know, like Spider therapy. And I won't even charge you." It was a tease, but he couldn't let the offer go without being said. Everyone needed to talk at some point.
