Macklyn wasn't surprised so much by the car as he was by the color choice. He would have put Selina in something black or dark purple. The yellow stood out and called attention to the car, which he supposed was the point of the car in the first place. It was also very bright.
But he supposed that sometimes a girl just liked having something attention getting.
The drive was nice, though Macklyn was admittedly unaccustomed to being in vehicles of any kind. Generally speaking he used other modes of transportation that weren't available to other people. Or he walked. Walking was nice and simple.
Wayne Manor was as big as he'd imagined it would be, and as well cared for. He could see how the cat might get lonely in a place like this. It was made for isolation and to keep the average person in wonder.
He followed her up the stairs, looking at everything as he went. It was no wonder she felt like she should hang up her mask, everything she might have stolen was already here. What fun was that? Of course, setting herself some challenges might be amusing. He wondered if Wayne Manor had a state of the art security system that she could use to amuse herself.
The kittens on the bed melted his heart. "Well. Now I just feel bad taking Saucer home." They looked so happy.
