Selina sat next to Ben, setting the lunch he had bought her in her lap for a moment. She sipped at the straw, and nodded, "Today is fine, we can go back to Wayne Manor once we get done here." She figured that Alfred would appreciate the absence of the other kitten, not that Saucer had been a burden but it wasn't exactly a house fit for such active animals.
When asked what she had of Eric's, Selina sighed. She set her drink aside for later, and allowed herself to give Ben her full attention, "Something that I figured was dear to him. Actually, it doesn't belong to him, per say, but it is his," she explained. "At the library there are all of these display cases, one for each person that lives in The City," Selina began, tilting her head, "You have one, I have one, Bruce has one....Eric has one. In his, before I emptied it, there was an invitation to a wedding, Eric Draven and Shelly Webster," Selina breathed, wrinkling her nose, "And a wedding dress. I have the dress. I took it out of the case and brought it back to the Manor with me, which is where it sits now."
She felt bad about taking the dress. At first, she hadn't cared about the effect it might have. But she wouldn't risk hurting Ben or losing his friendship over being so petty. So coming clean seemed the right move. "I want you to take it back to him, please. It belongs with you, not me."
