She listened to Eric's--Leif's--story. The death of his children tugged at her heart. Such a thing was not unexpected, but she still felt the loss of each of her children as if it were a new and bleeding wound. He spoke of the loss of his family as if it still pained him as well, which spoke well of him. Siggy could not respect a man who did not care for his family.
