When his phone twittered at him, Bruce glanced at the return message, nodding at the phone as if she could have seen his reply. He tucked the device safely back in to a pocket for later and waited patiently for the blonde to arrive.
And as if her energy was catching, just seeing the way her face lit up was enough to bring his confidence back. He had made the right choice helping her, and he was glad for the opportunity. Even if this was a temporary fix, he hoped it helped her on some level.
"Oh. No, that's okay. I'm sure you've been busy doing stuff," Bruce replied, offering Liv a shrug. He wasn't anyone that could even demand an iota of her time, nor would he. His hand dipped in to the pocket of his own light jacket, and he produced for her the small mint tin wrapped with a single ribbon, tied in a bow.
"It's not the best looking, but I figured that maybe it would bring you a little bit of relief." He explained softly, offering her the metal box, "Here."
