"Not at all," Eric replied, smiling a little at her quip. She had spirit. That was a good thing in a place like this. She seemed like a fighter, not someone whom was easily afraid. He could see her being an ally, but probably not any time soon. People like her weren't quick to trust, especially not creatures like him, and that was probably a smart thing
The remark about winning a trip to Hawaii had Eric laughing softly the next minute. He shook his head at her, "Unfortunately Hawaii is a little bit out of our league. We have beaches, but nothing as luxurious as a tropical island. I can show you a nice waterfall of two, otherwise you're stuck here like the rest of us."
Eric glanced down at himself at the fairy godmother thing, assessing what part of him looked like it came from Cinderella. Shaking his head, Eric looked up at her, "Not quite. Not all sparkles and wishes and wings. Phantoms aren't so bad. We're sort of caught in the middle between vampires and zombies, it's not that cool."
A shrug and the hybrid swept a hand at the stone he had been kneeling beside only moments ago. "I'm just visiting a friend. Nobody else comes, so I do it. And usually it's pretty peaceful when there aren't loud-mouthed blondes taking up all of the serenity." The last part was said in jest. She had basically called him a weirdo, but he had been called worse than that.
