Slowly, Peggy knelt down, tucked the fabric of her dress beneath her bottom and around her legs to keep it off of the street, and as promised she fished a metallic item from within a pocket of her cardigan.
"There now. As promised, for being so good," Peggy breathed. She tossed the small metallic thing on to the ground, exposing the pocket watch with an attached chain to the surrounding public. "What a good boy you are, Crow. Thank you."
Brushing her hands together, Peggy stood up slowly and turned to face Alex, "Do creatures like that live regularly where you are from? Or did you form such an uncanny friendship during your travels?"
