Blind Seer panted laughter, and Firekeeper cuffed him again with the hand that wasn't stuffing the last of the squirrel into her mouth. He rolled and mouthed at her arm in a playful sort of way that would undoubtedly leave scratches, but she didn't seem perturbed.
She swallowed her food and cleared her throat. "I am adopted. Raised by wolves. Blind Seer is my brother," she said proudly. "I claim wolves. Only human in skin and bone. Wolf here," she said, thumping above her heart. She grinned then. "Not pay to be soft and delicate with wolves. You have wolves back home?"
