She nodded brusquely at Robin and motioned towards the other side of the fire as she got down to the business of eating, tearing into the meat and alternating with bites of bread with single-mindedness. She didn't bother with manners--this was no state dinner, and Derian wasn't here to tell her to slow down, wipe your fingers on the bread, chew your food more before swallowing, slow down because you're scaring the other guests.
