Eric watched curiously as John turned and moved toward a rack with a pair of acoustic guitars nestled in it. Pulling his own guitar back toward himself, holding it while John plucked the ideal choice of the pair from the rack. He listened to what John was saying, interested in the energy and the atmosphere as well as the words.
The hybrid was aware that this was dangerous for the both of them, this meeting here in the darkness. He craved companionship, though, needing the feeling of someone else being nearby. It was the fairy part of him that desired the closeness. He knew the risks. If John figured out what he was, what he truly was, then there would be blood and it wouldn't be his own. Eric didn't want that for John, he seemed kind enough. And Eric did have a bad habit of attracting vampires, though he didn't know why.
"Misbehaving is usually much more fun, but when you can pair it with something as welcoming as music, then I suppose you get the best of both worlds." Eric held on to the guitar in his hands, strumming along easily with John. "It's refreshing to know that there is someone else here with some skill, and that we pretty much have the rest of eternity to write music."
