"Inara? That's pretty." Fred settled down the booth, smiling as she was wont to do. "Where do you come from? Seeing as we're gonna share a meal, might as well get to know each other."
There was a hint of a laugh before she looked around, just getting a feel of the place. It wasn't exactly like her usual dining establishment, but she could adjust. Sometimes that wasn't the easiest thing for the brainiac to do, yet she could if she had to. She was a survivor after all.
"No. Not exactly. Never been dead, but I suppose it was going to happen eventually. Well, of course, it was going to happen eventually. Pretty much everyone dies. I am a little thrown by the not bein' dead anymore. Hey, at least we didn't come back as zombies or vampires! That's good." Fred smiled, trying to brighten the poor woman's spirits. "Zombies tend to each flesh, and vampires tend to be soulless. At least the ones I know of. Not that I've ever met a zombie..." There was a distant look as she went through her life experience. "Nope, pretty sure I haven't met any zombies."
Fred pause, as she expected what she was saying could sound a little crazy, especially with how she tended to deliver bits of information.
"I'm not crazy. The dimension or universe, depending on the word you choose because basically both could be applied to our environmental and reality based experiences, does have vampires. As well as other occult type creatures and artifacts. The reason I say this is that you might not come from such a world, and I fully recognize that possibility. In fact, a world without demons and bumps in the night, as much as I might think I'd love it, would be something of an oddity for me. Then again, I've met Norman Bates, who I know is from a movie, so transreality as well as transdimenson must exist - transreality being defined by the multiple layers of reality, fiction versus nonfiction, where trandimension is simply multiple dimensions. It's a theory I'm working on in my spare time."
