Confused, Aidan just stared at Evey for a minute after she'd stood. Her words slowly seeped into his brain and he caught up with what she was saying. He didn't think there was any real anger there at what he'd said to her, but there was an incredible amount of passion.
He let her final statement marinate his brain before he addressed the idea.
"You want us both?" His eyebrow went up slightly. Aidan was not put off by this idea, it wouldn't be he first time he'd shared somebody. Or more than one somebody. After living so long, he'd come to understand that things weren't always so black and white. His tongue played with the rough underside of his back teeth while he contemplated this. Could he share Evey? He didn't know. There was already some jealousy rising. Did he want to share her? Absolutely not. But that wasn't really in question at the moment. What would he do for her? What would he endure? "I want to make really sure of what you're saying before we go on.
