Barbara nodded and smiled warmly, "Yeah, the technology is much better than it was. I'm glad you get to experience what it's like lately. Not that Ninteen eighty nine was terrible, but it's come a long way when it comes to perps and solving crimes. I'm glad we've advanced so much. It let us finally be able to truly help people from years ago that haven't been able to have their evidence processed. It's a remarkable thing."
The red-head nodded, "Trust me. Now a days they just wanna hear about all of the gross and disgusting things you've seen. Apparently that's cool with the dudes. The worse it is the better," Barbara teased, though some of that was true. Guys did tend to like the gorier aspects of the investigation.
Then her smiled softened. "If I can help you in any way, you just let me know. I'm all about bringing perps to justice, especially dangerous ones. If I need to leave a computer logged in, you tell me. If I need to leave my ID at my desk so you can get what you need, you tell me. If you need someone picking up discarded evidence off the books, you tell me." She was serious and keeping her voice down at the same time, her attention all for Clarice.
