It was impossible not to smile. He shook his head. "I like hearing you talk," he said gently. But that wasn't what she wanted, and Leto was fairly certain that he'd give her whatever she asked from him.
"I was on the island for eight months and five days," he answered. "Most of the time was spent on survival chores, though. There wasn't a lot of dinosaur interaction, at least not for me. There were others who weren't as fortunate as we were, but surprisingly no one died." He paused, remembering that he almost had. If it hadn't been for Ben Flynn... But it didn't seem like the best conversation piece, that bit.
"The TARDIS was our lifeboat, of sorts. The ship was badly damaged, to the point of dying. The Doctor and a few others pulled together to save her. She was incarnated into a human form for a while, before... Honestly, I'm not sure how they re-incorporated her back, but she wasn't always there. It was a strange time."
