Steve grinned. "I know what you mean." He nodded, gesturing with his chin. "The garage is only a few more blocks. We can take turns walking it, if you want. I know they can get heavy."
He could have carried the bike down on his own, but Barbara seemed like the type of person who liked to get things done for herself. She didn't need someone stepping in to take over - she just needed a helping hand. He wasn't going to overstep.
He dug into his pocket for the keys, and found there was an extra, a spare key for the garage. Just what he needed. He unhooked the spare from the ring and held it out for Barbara. "Here's a key. There's a few shops around if you need any supplies, but most of the basic tools are there, plus oil, filters, fluids."
