He could feel her body beginning to lose the shake it had taken from the sobs. A breath of relief escaped him and Bruce unwound his arms from around her. His palms met her shoulders and he looked at her, before glancing down at the front part of his shirt. It was covered in tears and....he needed to change it.
"The Birds sounds great," Bruce nodded, offering Liv a smile when he met her eyes again. He pulled away from her entirely. As she turned to head to the bathroom, Bruce wandered overt to the bag he had packed that sat on the table. He rummaged through it, pulled out a clean tee shirt and changed.
When that was settled, Bruce placed a delivery order for a pizza with spicy sausage, pepperoni and jalapeƱos. He had some of that ghost pepper sauce for her too if she needed it. After the order was placed and settled, Bruce set his phone on the table.
He went to the couch, sat down and turned on the TV. Flipping through the the program options with the remote, he found something similar to Netflix and found her movie. It was queued before she even came back from the bathroom.
