Bruce still knew very little of this place, he had no idea that his presence had been within these walls previously. He was shocked to know that some people knew who he was already and the fact that his Other Guy was a known entity was also somewhat of a shock. Bruce did what he could to keep the two halves of himself separate and out of the limelight. That didn't always work out the way he hoped, and this was one of those times. He had no idea how many had been hurt, or that a couple of citizens had been fatally injured in the fight. All he knew is that in spite of all of the damage he had helped people not be a snack by a T-Rex. A freaking dinosaur.
So when the woman whom seemed to be able to telekinetically move concrete turned to face him, Bruce arched his eyebrows at her. The tone of her words was sharp and he felt stung by them, as if she had intended for them to slice and for him to bleed. "Excuse me? To gloat?" Why would anyone gloat over this? What was there to be proud of?
The scientist swallowed thickly. He wasn't afraid of this woman, obviously some kind of law enforcement. He was afraid that she might try to stop him when he changed. That was not a good idea by any stretch of a measure. Shaking his head at her, Bruce sighed, "I'm sorry about all of this, I don't have much control over what happens, but I couldn't just stand by and watch people get eaten by a dinosaur." He knew the explanation probably would do no good but now it was done.
That was not the first time he had been threatened with arrest and incarceration, though he doubted that any place in this City would be strong enough to hold him. Unbeknownst to him, there was a Hulk containment unit within the walls of Stark Tower.
"How can I help you clean up this mess?" It was the least he could do.
