Even in his delirious state, Tony saw the unmistakable glimmer of her love for him, that love that kept her coming back for more regardless of how he treated her. He really had to get his act together when he was better and stop wasting so much of their time together.
"It hurts. Threw up too much,"he said, whimpering as his fingers clenched and held onto her leg. "I just...will you rub my stomach?" he asked her, his voice sounding much like he the scared kid of ten when he last felt this sick and wanted his mother to do the same to make him feel better.
He didn't want water and the thought of food made his stomach turn right now. He just wanted her close.
