"You really know how to kick a guy when he's down, Pep," he chuckled, trying his best at humor at the really crappy situation. He moaned slightly as she touched him, more because her hands were cooler than the rest of him, and playing with his hair like that always made him feel a little better. Her fingernails were hitting along the sensitive spots of his head, soothing him from the small headache that had formed from throwing up so hard. "Hurry back, miss you," and he buried his face in his pillow.
By the time Pepper come back, Tony had kicked off all of the blankets on his body and lay spread eagle in the center of his bed, and Jarvis adjusted the temperature of the bedroom a few degrees to give him a small amount of cool air. With the amount of sweat on him, it did make him shiver, but Tony was going to deal with it because his body was just too warm. He hadn't been this sick since he was a teenager when he caught a virus going around his private school one year.
Still, he believed this was karma plain and simple.
