Bruce would never suggest she put herself out like that for display by the public. The exact opposite, actually, until they could pinpoint the basis of the affliction. It wasn't like he advertised who he was, and though he magnitude of their burdens were different when it came to the standard of society, Bruce still hid as though the citizens here would throw rocks at him should he venture into the street.
He didn't expect anything from her either when it came to repayment. That wasn't necessary and he would not have let her if she had tried. She had gotten his lunch, that was compensation enough. She was letting him study her cells and look into her DNA and genetics. How could he ask for more than that from her?
A nod coupled with a friendly smile, "You're welcome. I don't think we should do this in he hospital, though. It's not secluded enough and I don't trust their computers. I know a place we could go that wouldn't ask questions or be surprised by a condition like yours, but I'll have to figure out if it's useable. If it is, I'll let you know. If not, we will figure something out." He would rig his apartment if he had to.
Bruce figured the morgue was the easiest way to find her if he needed her. He didn't feel asking her for her address and phone number was appropriate at this stage.
