She leaned in closer, moving into his personal space without touching him. Her nostrils didn't flare, but he probably recognized the action somewhat. She was getting his scent. Medical - there wasn't one particular thing, but it felt medical. She wasn't not known for catching a scent and breaking it down. There were those who had that gift. She wasn't known for tasting blood and recognizing things. She was a walking database, and she knew her worth. She was also a hell of a fighter. There were other things in his scent that suggested or more confirmed the otherness of this young man.
