When the hostess had retreated far enough from them, Logan finally turned back to Giselle and gave her the attention she deserved. His demeanor changed; it shifted from the feral monster he could be to the sweet, kind man that she knew. It took but a breath of a moment. Logan had many a year to practice control over his emotion, though his temper was another thing all together.
At her question, Logan nodded. "Been alive a long time. Ain't much to steak. Ya gotta figure out how ya like it. For tha flavor, ya gotta eat it less cooked than most people like. A meduim-rare is tha best for ideal flavor. Stomachs of normal humans ain't always equipped ta handle tha partially uncooked meat. I like mine bleedin'," Logan explained. When it came to steak, he cut and the method of cooking was what mattered.
And as far as a recommendation went, Logan motioned to the menu, "Filet mignon, is always a good go to when ya ain't sure what ta get."
