Giselle should have been unhappy about how Logan sent the waitress darting away in terror, but she just knew that he wasn't anything to be afraid of. Logan was kind and gentle and sweet - and no one would dissuade her in her belief of this. But there was also the fact that he'd managed to find a way so that they could be closer together without having so much table between them and also to retain the comfort they would both want when it was time to eat. Giselle, in gratitude, leaned over and kissed his cheek. He was a good man.
"Do you know a lot about steak?" she asked, turning her menu until she found the section where the steak was listed. There were so many options! She wanted to choose something like what he'd have, so she could experience it as well - but she had no idea what to order, or how to order it. "I don't suppose you could pick something out for me?"
She didn't tell him that this would be her first steak. She somehow felt shy over this fact, perhaps because of how easily he talked about what he wanted. She didn't even know enough about steak to know if it's something she wanted, really. She just knew she wanted to have what he had.
