(sorry, got distracted by the storm!)
Giselle was surprised at how quickly and easily he navigated the woods and got them back onto the City streets. She suspected that Logan was able to do a lot more than he ever shared with her, and she looked forward to learning more about him. She suspected she had a good lot of things to learn, and the idea of getting to know him even better was thrilling.
Happily looping her arm in with his, she took a good look around, then hesitantly pointed toward the east. "I think it's that way," she said, squinting. She was looking for a yellow rooftop with white awnings. "Let's go this way!"
And it took a few blocks to find, but find it they finally did. It turned out to be a conveyer belt type place, full of tiny dishes, no more than a couple mouthfuls. There was an hors d'oeuvres table, a salads table, a main dish and side items table, and finally, a desserts table - each with bar stools around the large conveyer belts. Giselle clasped her hands together and beamed at Logan.
"They had this green stuff on crackers," she murmured, finding a seat at the hors d'oeuvres table. When the waiter came by, she quietly ordered an iced tea. She'd only started drinking iced tea and found it delightfully refreshing.
