Against what seemed possible, her eyes grew even bigger. She turned into his touch - though it didn't seem like she was quite aware that she did - and tried to think of something to say back to him. It was quite possibly the most romantic thing anyone had ever said to her. She was struggling not to tear up about it. But, despite all her attempts to find something appropriate to say, all she actually managed was:
"Really?"
It was breathless and stunned and charmed and delighted and hopeful all at the same time. Her free hand very delicately alighted on his wrist in the effort to keep him close to him. She liked it very much when he looked at her like this. He did it so often, and every time he did, warmth flooded her from the crown of her head to the bottom of her feet. Her cheeks had already flushed. Still, she wanted more of this.
