Unlike Logan, Giselle was still catching her breath. Her face was flushed pink and small curls clung just to her temples. She brushed them free and panted, both hands braced behind her as she leaned back.
"And we haven't missed the sunset, either," she panted, still pleased despite being a little winded. "I've wanted to watch the sunset with you for weeks, ever since I found this place. It's also beautiful at night, when the valley turns blue and purple, and the crickets start to sing."
She didn't think they'd stay here late enough for all of that, but she wanted him to know it all the same. There were so many things she wanted to show him, and she felt like tonight was her chance to squeeze in as many of them as she could. It meant that she couldn't linger in any one place for too long, though every place she wanted to take him to could be the entertainment for the evening.
