The deep, sultry voice wrapped her in allure. She lifted a hand upward slowly, fingertips caressing the sound that settled between them almost as if he had handed her an object. Her breath caught in her throat for an instant, her pulse quickened as her heart raced. Fluttered. She didn't know what had brought it but it was the tone. That undeniable tone.
Releasing the breath pent in her throat Mag smiled. Her fingers retracted to the front of her dress and she produced a laminated badge on a strap and held it up for Erik to behold. Across the front of the card beneath the lamination read the words TOUR. The group she had come in with she had broken from with motives other than the view of the great halls and grand stair cases.
But was that really what she had come for? Or had the reasons changed as soon as she had broken from the others? Had she really come to find this phantom of a man? To see if he was here? She would never truly know. What she did know that there was nothing for them more than what lay enshrouded in this darkness. The distance between them would remain but she hoped that one day they could breech it. Close it for no purpose other than dual companionship with the music.
