Perhaps the darkness was a comfort. She knew what that was like, finding comfort in the shadow when it was all one knew to rely on. There was comfort where one could not be seen, and yet there was a secret power there too. She could almost feel it crawling easy across ivory skin though it seemed warmed by the spotlight.
"Er-ik," she sang again in response to his words though this time as her words left her lips the song was softer. More intimate in a way, a thin captured and shared between them. And then she did turn in the direction of the voice that had floated toward her. Mag offered a glance over her shoulder, eyes shimmering through strands of black curls.
A figure in the darkness, a silhouette. It was all he offered and yet it seemed the only thing there was to offer. She waited patiently. So patiently to see if he would join her in the light or simply lure her into the darkness. It was quite the temptation.
