Castiel could tell his words hadn't helped too much, but somebody who went through what this man had would need time, and connections Castiel couldn't provide alone.
He shook his head ever so slightly as the question was asked.
"I do not need repayment. Keep Ariel safe. If you need me again, you can call to me. I will hear and find you," he said. He imagined that sooner or later James would need help calming his mind again. It wasn't any trouble for the angel, and it wasn't the first time he'd offered help to a citizen of this city, though he no longer referred to it as praying.
