He wasn't up on the ways and natures of their species, but with Macklyn's guidance and enough time he would know more. As it was, Eric had no desire to leave Macklyn be. He wanted to be as near to his mate as possible and work through whatever it was trying to drive them apart.
Eric took Macklyn's hand, threading their fingers together. He cast a glance down at the kitten and nodded, "I did. I got a lot of those little cans of wet food to see if he might like them. There's toys, some stuff to scratch on and a small bed for him."
Their family was so unique and it had come together so well. So quickly. He was so proud of all of it and he hoped Macklyn knew it.
