"I have." The crone didn't move immediately. She watched the vampire on the couch carefully; there was something that displeased him, but then there was something that displeased her.
"I wanted to know what would come of me when the world finally rights itself." She moved slowly toward the very tall creature whom she called many things for many reasons. "There is something building as this world is not right." Her hand lifted.
"I realize it has always been a little different, a little off as they say, but this is something more. No two Erics or any of the other doubles should exist long in the same place. This reality was not made for it, no matter how malleable it likes to think it is. " She finally climbed onto the couch, not caring if she might get him a little smudged or mussed from what she'd been doing in the cabin. Thankfully water was the latest medium she tried to read what really might be coming. She settled in a small spot, somewhat on and off him.
"He thought I should discuss this with you. I told him it would happen. You both live as if you don't care that either of you will leave. I do not believe that is your true feelings. He is you, and you are he. You will be concerned if he disappears, and he you. And there is any other number of possibilities of what might come. I want to know what you both plan to do with what and who is here when what happens happens." Her nose wrinkled. She hated being forced to be so vague. She didn't know what was coming, not really.
